It's troubling to see how many students these days have completely zero school pride. They don't feel about their institute, they don't get involved in events, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a community and believe in their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is detrimental to the entire school atmosphere.

This Isn't My Old School

When I see the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't spark feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a vague concept. Maybe because my time there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same meaning for me as it does for others.

It's not that I haven't appreciated my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that resonates in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I made my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are centered around unique experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The world doesn't accept that I exude a different color. They stare with curiosity as I display the reality of my nature. My blood is a representation of {somethingunique that they can't imagine. They categorize me as other, but I am simply unique.

The Concept of School Spirit? Nah

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing school swag and chanting slogans. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.

  • My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their enthusiasm is contagious.

Craving That Deliciousness

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me pizza rolls any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
